In some cases the links on a CMS website content management make a big mess out of the hierarchical structure of information on the website. It can be fixed, but there are a lot of CMS users who don’t care about SEO and just use the defaults — which are usually not the very best for SEO.

There are some themes and plugins for every CMS that will be very well suited for a great search-engine friendly website, usually the free themes are not it. (but there are exceptions).

Yes, and it is very easy to do. The formatting of the Home Page — the number of columns, the number of articles, etc. — is controlled by the Parameters tab found on the Main Menu Item “Home”. GoTo: MENU>MAINMENU and select HOME. In the right column you will see the Parameters.
